Hello, (Re: Monitor wanted) -  I would like a monitor for the Foxfield Steam Railway,
Stoke on Trent (www.foxfieldrailway.co.uk), for use in the offices.
The railway is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers and,
operating on a small margin (coal, insurance, etc are increasingly
costly!), naturally struggles to purchase such items new. The monitor
would be used for admin and publicity work at the railway's
headquarters in Blythe Bridge.

I hope you consider this to be a worthwhile cause, and look forward to

Old National Geographic Magazines wanted
Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust's Regional Neurological Rehabilitation Unit cares for long stay adults with brain injuries. As part of patients ongoing care programme they are offered art workshops twice weekly. We are seeking donations of back editions of the National Geographic Magazine to use in workshops and  memory groups. Anyone in East London wishing to donate should have a quantity they no longer need or want and we will collect.

Reclaimed Railway Sleepers wanted

Hello! We work with people in deprived areas in the North-West, people who have little or no qualifications, people who have no confidence or self-esteem and people who are disadvantaged. We work with people from the roots, tailoring or support and courses to suit their individual requirements.
In our unique and creative centres we offer vocational training and accreditation. Our training is mainly in Building & Construction, Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Hair, Beauty & Holistic Therapies. If anyone has any materials / tools which they no longer require in all areas of any of the subjects mentioned, please let us know, we would be extremely grateful of any donations. Sycamore Logs wanted - I'm a fundraiser for Folkestone RNLI, we use various means of fundraising, including running a skittle alley at various events. Wear and tear on skittles mean these need replacing frequently and they are expensive, so we need your sycamore logs! Sycamore trees are fast growing and regarded by most councils as weeds. If you have cut your sycamore tree down please consider us when getting rid of the logs if they are between 6 and 8 inches in diameter, we can have these turned into skittles at low cost. Large Tent's (cook's/mess tents), cooking equipment, Canadian Canoes, Kayaks - We need equipment! Not much, just enough bits to run camps for youth and others who would not otherwise have the resources or oportunty to get out there. It's a small operation at the moment and we have the know-how but no money, and only bits of scrounged kit.
